ABOUT US
Inspired by our students’ curiosity and drive, Greenville Goes Global (GGG) was founded by four foreign language teachers at Greenville High School and Coleman Middle School. We believe that our exceptional French and Spanish students deserve the opportunity to see the world, and that a lack of resources should not bar these brilliant young people from the life-changing experience of traveling abroad.
Through a rigorous application process, Greenville Goes Global was started by selecting fifteen of our district's best French and Spanish students to travel on GGG’s inaugural trip to France and Spain in March 2014.
This year, we have selected 15 students to travel with us to London, Paris, and Rome in March 2015, and 10 students to study Spanish in Mexico for two weeks in June 15.
Our trips do not only serve as an opportunity to introduce our students to the larger world; they allow the world to meet our incredible students. We are confident that, through such immersion, these thoughtful, engaged students will represent their hometown positively and will return with a fresh perspective that will brighten their entire community.
