Hodrika Burnett
GGG President, Class of 2015
Hodrika will be our first student to attend TWO GGG trips: the 2014 Trip to Paris and Barcelona and the 2015 Trip to Oaxaca, Mexico. A member of the National Honor Society and Superintendent's List for all A's, we are honored to have Hodrika act as our GGG Student President until she graduates in 2015.
Myia Campbell
Class of 2016
Cheerleader and National Honor Society member, Myia was another 9th grader lucky to be bused to the high school for Spanish classes. Although she lost her phone on the trip, Myia enjoyed spending time in Barcelona and eating ice cream in Paris.
Jacqueline Driver
Class of 2017
Jacqueline was fortunate to complete French I at Coleman Middle School before moving onto the TL Weston 9th Academy the following year. Her sense of humor and beautiful smile graced the streets of Paris and Barcelona... which unfortunately weren't enough to get her by when she tried to sneak a pop through airport security.
Brandon Johnson
Class of 2015
Brandon is a highly active student in the Greenville community as a member of the varsity football, cross country, and track teams. He also represents his pathway for the Student Government Association, sings for the choir, and performs in plays for GWHS as well as Delta Center Stage. A natural Spanish student, Brandon hopes to move on to studying Chinese when in college. His energy level and fantastic adventure sense made him a fabulous additon to the GGG family.
Kennedy Wellington
Class of 2015
Kennedy is a member of the National Honor Society and Beta Club at GWHS. Kennedy proved herself to be a fundraising QUEEN, constantly hounding the GWHS populace to buy chocolate bars for our cause. Thankfully, despite her myriad allergies and brief but sudden illness, she survived the trip with a smile on her face.
Dakayla Allison
Class of 2015
A member of the National Honor Society and GWHS Tennis Team, Dakayla is a natural French student and scholar. Her favorite parts of the trip were the bike tour in Barcelona and shopping at H&M.
Myeashia Carpenter
Class of 2014
Myeashia was one of our three senior GGG members in 2014. An active member of Bethelem M.B. Church choir and praise dance team, Myeashia loves taking care of children and sharing her experiences. She was most excited to see the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles and to shop on the Champs-Elysées.
Semoria Doss
Class of 2015
Semoria is a volunteer at the Greenville Boys and Girls Club and a singer in her church's choir. She won the GGG Award for Most-Minutes-Spent-on-International-Calls-While-Abroad and Most-Money-Spent-Shopping.
Dynasty Palmer
Class of 2015
One of our most impressive academics with a 4.0 GPA, we were very happy we could convince Dynasty's family to have her join us on our trip to France and Spain. A fantastic student who can sing and dance, Dynasty's positvity radiated throughout Europe.
LeDarius Whitley
Class of 2014
We were honored to have LeDarius, Valedictorian of the GWHS Class of 2014, as a senior member of the GGG family. His humor, intelligence, and inherent disposition to learn languages made him a valuable member of our group.
Jacari Brown
Class of 2016
An avid member of the Greenville-Weston High School Cheer Squad and a fantastic Spanish student, Jacari was one of the lucky 9th graders to be bused to the high school for foreign language classes. She is the first member of her family to travel, and she is extremely grateful to have had this opportunity.
Taylor Davis
Class of 2014
When he was not enthusiastically fundraising for GGG, Taylor enjoyed singing for the GWHS choir, dancing in the talent show, or rehearsing for plays. As a Catholic, his favorite moment of the trip was visiting the Notre Dame Cathedral during mass.
Kayla Gines
Class of 2015
We convinced Kayla Gines to join us after two of our original GGG members unfortunately had to drop out of the trip. Another GWHS Cheerleader and active member of the school community, Kayla was happy to take this trip with her friends, even if she hated all of the food.
Marcy Taylor
Class of 2018
Marcy was one of the two lucky 8th graders to join us on GGG's trip to France and Spain. A talented French student and cheerleader, Marcy was excited to travel alongside her mother, Ms. Carletta Taylor, who came as a chaperone.
Kayla Williams
Class of 2018
Kayla, also known as "Baby Kay," was one of two lucky 8th graders to join us to France and Spain. She is a talented runner, cheerleader, and French student, whose humor, energy, and youth made us constantly smile in Europe.
