Greenville Goes Global celebrates being 2-years-old with TWO trips!

The incredible support of families, friends, community members, colleagues, staff, and administrators for our efforts has been overwhelming.

With a growing foreign language department and hordes of fantastically driven French and Spanish students, the Greenville Goes Global team has decided to host TWO trips for the 2014-2015 school year.

London, Paris, and Rome
March 2015

Students will spend 10 days jet-setting from London to Rome!

Greenville Goes Global will be using Education First Tours, a prominent academic tour company. Highlights will include: Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, Vatican City,

St. Peter's Basilica, and Trevi Fountain, among many more.

Oaxaca, Mexico
June 2015

Students will spend two weeks studying Spanish at the Becari Language School in Oaxaco, Mexico.  For the first time in GPSD history, students will be staying with host families in central Oaxaca, immersing themselves in Mexican culture and language.  Students will attend excursions after classes and on weekends.  Highlights will include: Ocotián market, San Bartolo Coyotepec black pottery, Monte Albán archeological sites, and Hierve el Agua rock formations among many more.
