El Centro de Esperanza Infantil is a place that helps children in Oaxaca to pay for the things they need to be successful in schoool. The program folows the kids all the way from primary school to university. They currently have about 600 students that they service. Each student gets a least one sponsor that pays a mínimum of $250 a year to help with entrance fees, uniforms and books.

In our experience so far we have helped students translate letters into English so they can send them to their sponsors to thank them We also play games with the children. The children are adorable and friendly. They also came up to us last night in the Zocalo and we took pictures with them. We have also helped teach English, which is great because it also helps us practice our Spanish. It has been a very good experience and something I aspire to do when I am older.
